Ohio troopers using language translator device

From the Lancaster Eagle Gazette -- The State Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies are breaking down language barriers with a device that translates an officer's words into any of nine languages. More than 360 law enforcement agencies — including the Drug Enforcement Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement — are using SpeechGuard, built by Ectaco, a Long Island, N.Y., company that makes electronic dictionaries and translators.
